160ft Atlantic Challenger

An AMS design project for a Blue Riband challenger capable of breaking the trans-Atlantic speed record.

Towing tank model testing proved speeds in excess of 100-knots for this gas turbine powered 160 footer [49m], to be built of advanced composite materials.

Upon completion of the successful Atlantic run an aerodynamically-correct deckhouse will be installed and the vessel retired to a life of luxury with extreme speed.
