Wolfe 46 Sedan Fly

From its inception, Hans Christian Yachts and Gary Grant did not deviate from their intent to develop a line of world class power yachts. Designed and built for offshore performance at relatively high speeds, the Wolfe 46 is a blending of technology, design and engineering principles combined to create a flat-running, precise-tracking machine.

The contemporary interior is functional and esthetically pleasing. The emphasis is on presenting an illusion of space using simple lines, airy fabrics, bleached wood and a basically monochrome display. The seating area is a simple arrangement of one semicircular settee and a folding dining table [convertible to coffee table] to port and entertainment center, occasional seating to starboard.

Avoiding the use of massive built-in furniture alludes to expansiveness. The galley-salon area is unilevel, providing a large floor space. Visual expansion is enhanced with 360-degree viewing -- the galley amenities are all under the counter to avoid clutter. All appliances and fixtures are chosen for their quality and simplicity.

The lower steering station, port of the galley, features an E-Vejvad Hansen BX 300 helm seat on slides and space for every navigation aid imaginable. Instrumentation and controls are slanted and within easy reach for quick-glance response.

Several variants of the Wolfe 46 were studied including an extended cockpit version which is shown below, configured as a tournament sportfish.
