Zephyrus: 180ft 4-Deck
An AMS design for a 180 foot [55m] 4-deck superyacht with accommodations for ten in the owner's party plus a crew of eleven.
Features include a 34 foot [10.4m] beam displacement hull form with bulbous bow; twin 22 foot tenders stowed conveniently on the main deck aft; transom garage for water toys; sundeck with observation lounge, spa and barbeque; midship engine room and 7'6" [2286mm] headroom on all decks.
As expected the creature comforts for the owners and their guests are superb, however more than ordinary measures have been taken to keep the crew happy [i.e. staying with the ship] including a mess where the whole crew can gather, a crew-only multimedia room, captain's cabin with adjoining office, six large crew cabins with the option of single berth or bunks and a crew fitness room with up to five exercise stations.
The owner's cabin is on the main deck forward of amidship and is full beam with adjoining office and direct access to the snack center. To keep guests from arguing over quarters all four guest cabins are exactly identical except for the selection of woods, fabrics and carpeting. The sky lounge features a home theatre system and a pub-style bar with six seats. The large gourmet galley has a hull-side door for loading stores; walk-in pantry, cold room and freezer; 8-burner cooker plus grill; and all the required appliances and chef's tools.
Zephyrus by the by, is from the Greek word [zephyros] meaning "the west wind" and is also sometimes spelled without the "us" at the end. ↑Top
