Independence 45 Trawler Yacht

The Gary Grant-designed Independence 45 trawler is built by Independence Cherubini in Delran New Jersey and features a full-width saloon for a remarkable amount of interior room for its size of 45 x 14.5 x 4.5 feet [13.7 x 4.4 x 1.4m]. Safe, economical diesel power provides an extended cruising range for exploring remote destinations.

In a true sense this design in powerboat passagemaking enables the owner and his family to cast off links with land and marinas for extended periods in a complete cruising home, voyaging in near silence, with backup systems and heavy duty equipment matched to design function.

The Independence 45 layout provides berthing for up to seven, two heads with stall showers, U-shaped galley plan and a professional-type wheelhouse. The deck is uncluttered and functional.
