Trekker: 111ft World Cruiser
AMS designed Trekker as an extremely rugged 111 foot [33.8m] ship with as much room aboard as most 140 footers. The abundance of space is due to a 32 foot [9.6m] beam as well as four deck levels.
Exterior features include an observation room on the flybridge deck level; an enclosed crow's nest; an ample boatdeck which can accommodate two large tenders as well as several personal jet watercraft; a knuckle-boom extension crane lifting system; a pivot-down transom beach platform for swimming, diving and boarding watercraft; and extra large deck freeing ports with hinged covers.
The interior arrangement has the owner's apartment on the main deck portside, opposite is the dining salon, aft is the main saloon. Further forward on the main deck portside is the galley with food stores and stairs to below deck starboard. The engine room is midship with four guest cabins, laundry and exercise room forward and the crew quarters aft. A large control room adjoins the crew quarters and allows viewing and monitoring the machinery and all vessel systems.
The professional wheelhouse has windows angled for glare reduction and boasts 360-degree visibility. A drystack exhaust system incorporates catalytic converters for reduced emissions from the twin propulsion diesels and two generator sets. Cruising range? Over 5000 nautical miles when you need it. ↑Top
